As an international non-profit association, CORAF works in 23 countries in West and Central Africa covering 12.3 million kilometers square. At the country level, CORAF works in partnership with national agricultural research systems (NARS) consisting of public agricultural research institutes, universities and other tertiary institutions, farmer groups, civil society organization, the private sector and any other entity engaged in the provision of agricultural research services.
