Besides, the private sector in West and Central Africa is growing and have potential to drive the science, technology and innovation agenda. CORAF views the private sector as critical to achieving its long-term goals. Its work on promoting youth employment is essentially dependent on a strong collaboration with the private sector. In the innovation platforms, the private sector plays a key role regarding providing business opportunities to a set of multi-stakeholders.
