|Running a quality service for submitting abstracts and reviewing papers comes at a cost; consequently a submission charge applies which partially covers the expenses for infrastructure overhead, hard/software maintenance, etc. The abstract submission charge is due upon submission of an abstract and applies to the presenting author only. The submission charge is not part of the symposium registration fees. The cost for abstract submission is EUR 80 for individuals residing outside the European Union. For authors submitting from within the EU zone the abstract submission cost is EUR 95 (including VAT). For ISHS Individual members, the abstract submission charge is fully waived. For more details see https://www.ishs.org/faq.
- Those who do not hold a user account with ISHS yet: create an ISHS user account first, then move on to the next step, select the appropriate option to pay for the submission charge and confirm your order. After payment and activation of your user account return to this page again and login with your ISHS user account authentication details to initiate the submission of your abstract.
- Those who already hold a user account with ISHS: prior to initiating the submission process ensure that the address and contact details associated with your ISHS user account are still valid and accurate. If required, update, activate and/or renew your lapsed ISHS user account first. Check the status of your ISHS user account here.
It is essential that your ISHS user account is associated with a valid e-mail address – all notification and status change announcements regarding your submission will be delivered to your e-mail address. Keep your ISHS user account data updated whenever your contact details change. Ensure your email software is not rejecting messages sent to you by ISHS. If you fail to receive emails from ISHS in your inbox, check your spam folder, alternatively seek advice with your IT department or network manager.Authors of abstracts accepted for presentation (both oral/poster) are expected to register for the symposium. All oral presenters, including invited and keynote speakers, must submit a manuscript for Acta Horticulturae. Authors of posters are welcome to submit their manuscript for Acta Horticulturae but posters cannot be published as such. See https://www.ishs.org/authors for more details on how to prepare your article for Acta Horticulturae.
Failing to register for the meeting will result in your abstract being withdrawn from the book of abstracts. Authors who fail to submit a full text for publication may be refused the floor to present their oral presentation.
